Norma Jean, now known as Penny, is one of the 9 dogs rescued from a puppy mill. Penny is a 5 year old black and tan smooth coated dachshund. She has had several litters in her life. Since coming into NMDR, Penny is now spayed, up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative, and had a dental cleaning. She is a sweet, shy little girl who is very skittish around humans. She will need lots of patient love and attention to overcome her fear of people. She is very good with other dogs and seems to take great comfort in their company. Penny is still working on her house training and getting used to a leash. She is being fostered in Albuquerque and her adoption fee is $275.
