Dooley is a beautifully gorgeous chestnut colored short hair dachshund, possibly 5 years old due to some graying on his face and under his chin.  He has an extremely long body and big, brown eyes, and quite slender, weighing 15.1 lbs.  He is extremely cordial, likes being with his foster mom’s own dogs and plays well with them and with toys.  He is always most anxious to get his food each day, dances up and down until it is placed before him, but he does not gulp the food down once it is placed before him.  He eats it like a well-mannered gentleman.  He has a little trick where, when he jumps up on his foster mom’s bed, he puts his paw up and wants to shake “paws”.  He will sleep in a chair for part of the night, and then does the proverbial dachshund thing of making a leap onto the bed.  He is used to a doggie door.  Dooley is up to date on shots, is neutered, and heartworm free.  He is being fostered in Albuquerque and his adoption fee is $275.
