Meet Rollie, the tail-wagger.  Yes, he wags his tail almost constantly and uses lots of expression in his eyes.  Rollie has such a sweet and endearing face, in spite of some gray showing.  He is approximately 7 to 8 years old, so don’t let the grayness fool you, he has plenty of action to him.  He weighs 12.5 lbs., and since he came to us as a stray, he was definitely looking undernourished.  However, he is starting to fill in the showing of the ribs.  His coat was also very rough looking and there was not much hair on his tail, which indicates he is thyroid deficient.  He currently is on thyroid medicines daily, but this doesn’t mean he will have to be on them forever. We will have him tested again for a thyroid condition after his coat fills back in. Even if he des need daily thyroid medication, this can be purchased for approximately $20 a month.  He is a honey red in color.  Rollie is a very mellow and sweet dog in personality, and would make anyone a wonderful pet, he is so easy to be around and he loves to have his tummy rubbed.  Oh yes, he also sings when he hears a siren going outside.  He’s quite the singer as a matter of fact, maybe a high tenor!   Rollie is current  on his shots, heartworm negative and recently had dental work where he lost five teeth, but this doesn’t slow him down in any manner of eating.  He has been chomping down carrots quite successfully as treats and happily eats dry kibble.  Rollie is being fostered in Albuquerque.  Why not welcome him into your home and your heart!
