Beautiful Bailey is a black and tan dachshund mix puppy who will be 12 weeks old on 9/16. Bailey has completed all her puppy shots and will be spayed as soon as she is old enough. Bailey has a very mellow personality. She is happy and active but does not explore as much as her sisters do. Bailey likes to cuddle and push a tennis ball around with her paws. She is crate trained and paper trained in an ex-pen at night. Bailey is being fostered in Fort Stanton and her adoption fee is $325.

UPDATE: After losing her sister Anna to Parvo, Bailey has been living at the vet’s office for the past 10 days. She is under very close supervision to ensure she does not succumb to Parvo as quickly as Anna did. Their other sister, Dottie, spent 9 days at the vet recovering from Parvo but is now happy at home with her new adoptive mom. Bailey has continued to test negative for Parvo and should be coming home today. Both Bailey and her mom Sadie seem to have been lucky enough not to come down with the virus.
