Hi. I’m Mickey, and I’m a rather portly gentleman (although my foster mom has me on a diet). I’m also, according to her, a wonderful, happy, calm and loving standard black-and-tan dachshund. I don’t have a temper, and I pretty much like everyone, people and dogs included. It may take me a day or two to feel fully comfortable with a new family, but I’ll be your very best friend in no time at all. I love to cuddle, and it would probably be better if my forever home didn’t have younger children (under 10) or too many other dogs, just because I deserve a lot of attention. My foster mom would keep me if she didn’t have so many other dachshunds. She told me so. I am neutered, have had all my shots, and have recently had a dental cleaning (none of which I’m very happy about). I’m also heartworm negative (whatever that means). I’m being fostered in Roswell and my adoption fee is $275.
