And here is Morgan!! He is a beautiful short hair, “wild boar” in coloration, male, is believed to about 6 to 7 years old. We don’t have any information on him because he and his partner, Pixie, were found abandoned in a yard until a kindly neighbor realized the situation and took them in for about three weeks before contacting us. He weighs 11.l lbs and has a very long body and a long nose and is the classic confirmation of what a dachshund typically would look like in a caricature. Due to the obvious factor he and Pixie has very little care in their years, Morgan had to undergo extensive dental work but did manage to save some of his teeth. He was also neutered, has all his shots, is heart worm free, is micro-chipped and uses a dog door. He is very mellow in his nature and affectionate and loves to lay in the cradle of your arms, and will sleep in a doggie bed all night long, although a minimal amount of coaxing and he would probably snuggle right up next to you. There is the possibility he is the puppy of Pixie, as he has a clump of wavy hair on the back of his neck, as she does, which could indicate a long hair in the breeding. He is quite attached to Pixie, more so than she is to him, but it seems they could be separated in adoption. He is being fostered in Albuquerque and his adoption fee is $275 due to his younger age.
