Nugget – ADOPTED!!

UPDATE….STOP THE PRESSES. I’VE BEEN ADOPTED!!!

Hello!  I’m Nugget, which is short for Gold Nugget. I’m three years old, purebred miniature B&T weighing eight pounds.  Sweet, lovable, cute, adorable and just about every other endearing adjective you can think of.  I was picked up by the dog police while running on the streets last fall, ending up in Dachshund Rescue.  After a visit to the vet, where part of my anatomy disappeared, I am looking for my forever home.  I love my foster home, I go for long walks with other dachshunds, dig moles, and run like the wind.  Anywhere off the farm, though, I have to be on a leash since I do like to run—far and fast.  I’ve only had this name Nugget for a couple months, so I don’t know to come when those people call me. In the house, I help myself to any food left on the table, sit in the window in the sun, and sleep under lots of blankets in my foster mom’s bed.  Rising late, my foster mom snatches me up and takes me outside, since I am so little I can’t open the doggie door by myself, and not really sure I would try anyway.   I go out with the other dogs, and we wander around the bushes, and then come back in the house and run and play for hours.   My foster mom will be sad, but she wants me to have a wonderful life, so if you want an opportunity for your life to be taken over by a tiny dog, please contact NMDR.  My foster-home is in Southern Colorado, but I can travel most anywhere.  My adoption fee is $300.
