Fosters needed!!

Ginger – ADOPTED!!!

I’m Ginger, a 13-year-old tweenie (a size between a miniature and standard), spayed, long-haired, no-nonsense gal who my foster mom says is a real sweetheart with lots of wisdom. I like having other canines around but don’t know about cats or other types of animals. Since I’m a little older I prefer adult humans to children. I really love humans who want to be around me all the time and indulge in petting me. I tend to take my time moving around and since I have some tenderness in parts of my body, I appreciate patience and gentleness. Don’t misunderstand, I can giddy up and I’m very alert and interested in what’s going on around me. I have lots of experience walking on a leash, know the bathroom is outside, and enjoy fresh air. I travel well in a car and am a quick study all around. I’ve learned how to use doggy stairs to get up and down furniture and I love using a doggy door because it gives me independence. Not to mention I get to maintain my ladylike reputation and potty outside at will. I’m not shy about asking for what I want and enjoy talking. I always have a lot to say when my foster mom is getting ready to leave the house and when she gets home. You should know I consider myself a foodie and love to eat so a little help with maintaining my girlish figure is welcome. I think I look and feel best around 13lbs but am currently 16lbs. Yes, I have a natural healthy glow but I’ll be getting a check-up with the vet to ensure my sparkle. May need to get my teeth cleaned, too, but after that I’ll be ready for the perfect companion(s) to spend my golden years with. I’m being fostered in Albuquerque and my adoption fee is $200.
