Hi All,

My name is Mozart, Moe for short. I’m an eight year old standard doxie. I’m up to date with all my shots, neutered and heart worm neg. I like going outside to do my duty and love using a doggie door to do so. I also like to go on long walks and walk well on a leash. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy their company . I will steal their food if I get a chance. I don’t know about cats.
Now for some of my history. I was an owner surrender from two older ladies who could not take care of my needs. I played on their soft hearts and got lots of people food so my weight ballooned up to 34 lbs.. My foster folks have me on a strict diet and to date I have lost a little over 6.5 lbs. I need a forever home that will continue to give me a diet dry dog food in moderate amounts to get me down to a healthy weight of about 20 -25 lbs. I’m a very sweet dog and love my humans. I’m looking for a forever home without stairs because I don’t handle them real well. Please think about giving me a forever home so we can continue our journey together…Moe
