Grüße (Greetings in German, being a German dog and all).  My name is Scamper, and I am about 6 years old.  I have a beautifully soft Black and tan coat, and weigh about 10 pounds.   Snuggling with my foster Mom or Dad is my next to favorite pastime—the first, of course, running and “Scampering” on long walks.  I run all I want, but if my Foster Dad whistles or my Foster Mom calls me, I run like the wind directly back to them.   Little children love to pick me up, which is fine if they are gentle.   My previous home was with other dogs, and there are many here now, and I get along with all of them.   Took a trip to the vet a few months ago, they cleaned my teeth, gave me shots, and operated on my nether regions.  Since then I don’t seem to want to run quite as much, and am really good about using the doggie door to go outside—although some infrequent relapses.  I love my foster home, but would really like to have my very own humans.  If you would like a darling and extremely lovable addition to your family, please contact NMDR for an Adoption application.
