Meet Jenny, a most personable little gal who is everybody’s friend.  She loves people, other dogs, very good with children and just seems to enjoy life period!   Jenny has just recently been returned to our rescue program.  She had been adopted by a family who were very loving and caring, but because of their younger children’s activities and just moving into a new house, the busyness  of the household was not good for this little gal, with no doggie door to help her control her potty habits.  She is now back with her original foster mom, and is so happy and playful and having the best time with her two former canine friends.  Life is good in her eyes!  She is between the ages of 1 and 2, weighs 12 lbs., has the classic Dachshund body in that she is long in length, in her muzzle and the most velvety floppy ears you could ever stroke.  And does she love all the cuddling you want to give to this beautiful girl.  She is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped and completely up to date on all shots.  She uses a doggie door with great regularily, the pottty training vastly improved, is used to being in a crate during the night if that would be your method, altho she would much prefer being right by your side in your bed.  Rope toys and a chew toy keep her busy during the day, and how strong she is when there is a tug-o-war going on with one of her companions, or how fast she can run when a game of laps is decided.  She was originally an owner surrender, coming to us from the Eastern part of our state.  Her coat just shines with the honey red coloring she has.  It is not often that we receive a dog of her caliber, and especially one so young.  If you would like to inquire about Jenny, she is being fostered in Albuquerque and her fee is $325.
