Hello to all, my name is Mattie. I had to be surrendered to NMDR because I was very scared of men. I was adopted without mention of issues being around men at an out- of-town shelter. I growl at all men and back away, in spite of my adoptive family’s trying over several weeks to overcome my fearfulness. I’m about 7 years old, spayed, heart worm negative and up to date on my shots. As you can see I need to shed a couple of pounds, and portion control is important. My weight now is 18 lbs. I feel very safe with women and get along with other dogs and even cats! Older kids are okay. I am energetic and love to take walks. I love cuddling close on the couch and snoozing also. I am ready to find my forever home. I’m being fostered in Albuquerque and my adoption fee is $275.00.
