Please meet Bootie, a recent owner surrender to our program.   Bootie is 10 years old, weighs about 24 lbs., and would be considered a standard. His owner is now working full time and leaving Bootie alone all day just  isn’t something he can handle.  He needs to be with someone who would be with him most of the day, as he seems to thrive on his owner’s attention.   It is noted, however, that he does not appear to like men and possibly younger children, so he would need to be placed with a female only.  He does like other dogs, but really wants most of the attention for himself.   Before being placed, he will need to be brought up to date on shots, possibly microchipped and heartworm tested.  He wants to sleep with his owner, and is a happy and well behaved dog but gets very nervous when he has to be left alone.   He is being fostered in the Albuquerque area and his fee would be $200.
