Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. I’m Baby May Bear, an 11-year-old, owner surrendered, handsome, distinguished, smooth cream piebald, tweenie sized neutered male. I’m a very proud fella (even if I am a little overweight) and an elder if you will (an elder I said, not elderly), with life wisdom and an easy going sort of been-there-done-that demeanor. I really enjoy going for car rides and walks though! I know where to potty and like using a doggie door  and no, I don’t go around marking everything – that’s for the youngsters. I find having canine companions is great but I think I’d be okay with just humans, too, as long as there are no young kids around to harass me and I’m not totally alone for long periods. Don’t know how I feel about cats. I give kisses when the time is right but prefer humans don’t get close up in my facial area without my permission (or I may become unpleasant). Like I said, I’m old school and have boundaries. I just found that sleeping in bed with my human foster mom is the best kept secret around….guess you’re never too old to try new things. Because of my coloring I have a very sensitive place on my skin under my neck which sometimes flares up and I scratch and lick it. Some hot spot, itch relief, medicated spray or antibiotic cream helps a lot during those episodes. I have very few teeth left but just because getting old is hard doesn’t mean I let it slow me down. My rabies vaccination is good until May 2019, I’m microchipped, and my foster mom will be getting my booster shots and heartworm test soon. So, what do you think?
