Itty Bit – ADOPTED!!!

Hi everyone!! My name is Itty Bit. I, along with my 2 brothers and 3 sisters were found along the river in a box and taken to the Valencia County Animal Shelter. Lucky for us, New Mexico Dachshund Rescue was contacted and bailed us out! Me and 2 of my sisters and one of my brothers are now with our foster parents in Farmington. I’m a sable smooth haired female Doxie mix. I have learned how to use the doggie door and potty training is on going. My foster dad says he is going to train me to walk on a leash when I get a little older. I have had my first puppy shots and have two more rounds of shots to go. Around the middle of Nov. I see the vet to be spayed. I’m not looking forward to that but everyone says it must be done before I can find a loving family of my own. I will be ready for adoption around the first of Dec. just in time for Christmas. I’m being fostered in Farmington and my adoption fee is $250.

Update – As my name suggest I’m the smallest of the group of puppies. I can hold my own when it comes to rough housing and playing tug of war with a sock or rope. I useally start the rough housing and every one else joins in. I like being outside and jsut laying in the sun for my down time. I was the last to learn the doogie door but got it down pat now. I’m learning to walk on a leash but have a ways to go yet.  Itty Bit
