Rosco – ADOPTED!!!

Hello!! My name is Rosco. I, along with my brother and  4 sisters were found along the river in a box and taken to the Valencia County Animal Shelter. Lucky for us, New Mexico Dachshund Rescue was contacted and bailed us out! Me and 3 of my sisters are now with our foster parents in Farmington. I’m a fawn smooth haired male Doxie mix. I have learned to use the doggie door and potty training is on going. My foster dad says he is going to train me to walk on a leash when I get a little older. I have had my first puppy shots and have two more rounds of shots to go. Around the middle of Nov. I will see the vet to be neutered. I’m not looking forward to that but everyone says it must be done before I can find a loving family. I will be ready for adoption around the first of Dec just in time for Christmas. I’m being fostered  in Farmington and my adoption fee is  $250.
UPDATE- I.m the most laid back of my group of puppies. Don’t get me wrong I like to rough house with my sisters but sometimes I like to just sit back and watch them play their siily games. My foster dad says I’m very smart as I learned the doogie door the first day I was here and learned to walk on a leash very quickly. I also like to follow my foster dad around and check out all the things he is doing. I would be your best pal.  Rossco
