Say Hello to Baby Girl!! This darling miniature red boar girl is about 8 years old, ~ 14 pounds.  She is spayed, has all her shots, is microchipped, and is in fine health.  She came to NMDR through the Pueblo shelter, owner surrendered with back trouble.  After careful evaluation, she was put on cage rest and a short course of steroids, and has completely recovered.  She runs and plays, loves to wrestle with other dogs. Very well house-trained, but has not learned to use the doggie door at her foster home. However, she will tell you when she needs to go out, and she does.  Loves to cuddle on the couch, sleep on your lap.  Prefers to sleep in her doggie bed at night, but comes up to the human bed in the morning for a cuddle.  Has no aggression–just a very good girl.  As with all dachshunds, her forever home should have doggie stairs by the couch and bed to ensure that she does not jump up and down, which is hard on all dachsie’s backs.  She is being fostered in southern Colorado, and her adoption fee is $250.
