Fang – ADOPTED!!!

Just a puppy, but full of life and as sweet as can be. My mother and I were surrendered to the local animal shelter since my previous people were “too busy” to take care of us.  I don’t really have  a name, but my foster Mother calls me “Fang” for my penchant for library books and shoes…

Just 14 weeks old, a Chi-weenie boy, beautiful golden/cream color.  My dachsie heritage shows in my body length and head, and also personality.  The Chi part of me shows in my ears and tail. I am calm and gentle, thanks to being part dachsie.  Not going to be a big dog, just around 4 pounds now.

Love to be cuddled and held, sleep quietly all night.  Go for walks with my Mom and stay right by her side.  A bit small to open the doggie door by myself, but if you take me outside, I tag along and do my thing on the grass. If there are any other dogs around, I love to play with them.

I have all my shots, but do have to go the vet next week to be “tutored”.  After that, I am ready to go to my forever home, and be a well-loved, darling doggie.

If you have the patience for a precious puppy that will grow to be a very small dog, but giant part of your heart, please contact New Mexico Dachshund Rescue for an Adoption Application.
