Hello all you Doxie lovers!! My name is Goldie and I was picked up as a stray.  The Animal Welfare dept says I’m 1 1/2 yrs old, but I’m still very much a puppy.  I know my name and come when called.  I’m very good with minding, but still working on housebreaking since I need to learn to get the foster mom a signal letting her know to open the door.  I am playing all the time with my foster buddy and learning boundaries.    I’m a standard Doxie mix and I weigh about 22 lbs, up to date on my shots and was “fixed” when I was at Animal Welfare. (didn’t know I was broken!!). I am affectionate with my foster mom when I am relaxed.  I loved all the attention from the visitors, including the kids, at the recent NMDR Adoptathon.  I’m excellent at playing fetch and need a lot of playing time.  I would be good companion to take along on a daily run with you!  As I’m a high energy dog, I need daily exercise and a lot of work walking on a leash (I still pull quite q bit). I’m being fostered in Albuquerque and my adoption fee is $200.00.
