Bella

Hi everyone out there in NMDR land. My name is Bella and I’m a lovely 2 year old chocolate doxie. I’m very affectionate, but it may take me a while to warm up to my new humans. It may take even longer for me to warm up to other dogs, but I will eventually. I’m very independent and love soaking up the sunshine. My foster mom suspects there is solar-power involved.

As a true doxie, I have a love of squeaky toys, soft blankets, and cuddles. Mom says I’m a quick learner and training comes easy to me. Ideally, my forever family would continue with my behavior training. Since my foster home doesn’t have any, it’s unknown how I might behave around cats or children. but I suspect I would be happiest in a home where there is only 1 other dog and no children. I am spayed, HW negative and up-to-date on all my shots.

Bella is also very skilled at escaping! When she’s uncertain and afraid, she WILL find your weakest link and exploit it. Her new people should be patient and willing to keep a very close eye on her until she decides she’s comfortable with her new digs. She is being fostered in Albuquerque and my adoption fee is TBD.
