This is Kenny, a very handsome 16 pound, 4 year old red smooth boy. He is neutered, up to date on all his shots and heartworm negative. Kenny was recently returned to NMDR from adopters who had adopted both him and his father, Duke. Kenny was being aggressive to “protect” Duke, and Duke was urinating all over the house in response to the stress. Since coming back into NMDR, Duke and Kenny have gone to different foster homes and are doing wonderful. Both have been relieved from the stress of trying to maintain their “pack of two” and Kenny has not shown any aggression at all to any other dog or human. He is the happiest, friendliest little boy there ever was and is very laid back. We recommend that Kenny go to a home where there is another dog playmate for him to romp around with as he does enjoy canine companionship. Due to his protectiveness of Duke though, Kenny and Duke cannot be adopted to the same home. Kenny is being fostered in Albuquerque and his adoption fee is $275.
