Hello, friends — I’m Goose! I’m a 10-lb, seven year old dachshund mix, and was found wandering around near I-10 in southern NM by some kind souls. They got in touch with NMDR, and I’m now in foster care. I love people and other dogs…and I love chickens but apparently in the wrong way. (Sorry, foster family.)

As soon as I get my full suite of vet care I’ll be available for adoption. If you think you might have room for me in your life, please let the good folks at NMDR know by filling out an adoption application on their website.

My adoption fee (which is actually what NMDR pays the vet on average for a dog like me) will be $625. Once you meet me, you’ll agree that I’m totally worth it! I can’t wait to meet you!
