Penny is a year-old Dachsie-Miniature Pinscher mix, and is absolutely precious.  She weighs about 7 pounds now, and although not likely to grow much, she will fill out and gain a pound or two, but will be a small dog.  Loves to play with her new friends, uses the doggie door (mostly) but does require some supervision.  She naps on the couch, and sleeps quietly in bed with her foster mother.  She is active and playful, but not boisterous or overly rambunctious.  Teeth are healthy and clean.  Has not shown any tendency to chew or bark.  Good on a leash and very smart; she would excel in an obedience class.  Very soft coat, classic black and tan markings. Have no idea about children or cats, since none live with her now.  She is spayed and has all her shots.   Penny is being fostered in southern Colorado, but can come back to New Mexico.  Adoption fee is $200.
