About five years old, spayed female, Dachsie/Schnauzer (maybe Silky or Skye terrier) cross.  Her fur is very soft and silky, and will grow long if she is not groomed.  About 16 pounds. Housebroken, knows her name, loves to go for long walks.  Belonged to an elderly woman who passed away recently, and poor Indy was distraught, hiding under the bed and not socializing.  However, given some time and love she has adapted to her foster home, although a bit shy of men.  Sleeps in her bed, on the couch, or in bed with her foster mom.  Gets along fine with other dogs.  Current on her vaccinations, is not chipped.  She will need a home that will give her time to find her own way to love and acceptance. Adoption fee is $200. She is being fostered in southern Colorado, but transportation is available.
