Howdy is 8 years old and a very beautiful dark chestnut color.  He is a bigger dog, not a standard but not a tweenie either.  He weighs 18 lbs.  He is a beautiful dog, the kind you  want to put your arms around and just love up.  He is a very mellow and quiet dog, very much a gentleman.  He would be your best “bud”.  He was found wandering the streets in Hobbs, NM and taken to that city’s shelter where he roomed with Hoagie — they are best friends with each other.  Howdy is neutered, up to date on all shots  and microchipped.  He also came to our rescue with the kennel cough problem, but is fine now.   He will sleep in a chair at night, but will sneak into your bed after you are sound asleep.  He does really well with being housebroken, and will use a doggy door. Howdy is being fostered in Albuquerque, his adoption fee is $200.
