Jack – adopted!

Jack1 Jack2

Meet Jack! He is a 10 yo red smooth dachshund who is really showing his age with the white in his face. Jack is sweet, loving, healthy, calm, charming, and active. Jack loves rides in the car and is very fond of his foster mom’s husband. He likes to sit in his lap and watch the football game. Jack is great with other dogs, kids of all ages, and shows no aggression with toys or food. Jack is great on group walks with the other dogs and stays close to his people off leash. He was returned to NMDR due to ‘constant marking’ in his home where he lived with two female Shiba Inu’s. It’s been two weeks and he has yet to mark in his new foster home, so we think the problem was with his environment instead of with him. Jack is heart worm negative, up to date on his shots, and recently had a dental where he had 6 teeth extracted. Jack is being fostered in Southern Colorado, but transportation can be arranged to anywhere in New Mexico for his perfect forever home.
