Hershey – ADOPTED!!

Meet Hershey, a very lovable male, black and tan with silver dapple markings over his entire body.  He is four years old, and came to us from the city shelter.  He was an owner surrender due to the owner moving to a home where a canine could not be brought.   Hershey weighs 13 lbs. – he is considered a tweenie, although he is a very small tweenie in that his body length is shorter than most dachsunds.   He is very, very affectionate and mellow in his disposition.  And such a quiet little guy you hardly notice he is around.   Wants to be with his foster mom as much as is allowed, but is also content to go lay in his doggie bed and take another snooze.   His mom reports he is quite the “foodie” however.  He has to get used to the doggie door business as yet, but so far seems to be very well housebroken.  He is also heartworm negative, completely up to date on shots, and is microchipped.  He has two other dogs as companions in his foster home, and gets along very well with them.  Don’t know about children, but because of his mellow disposition and cuddliness all the time, it would seem he and older children could make a lot of fun together.  This adorable little dog would be a wonderful companion for any one, any age, as he will give lots of loving attention to his human.  He is being fostered in Albuquerque and his fee would be $275.
