A very handsome little boy, white and black piebald; smooth coat, male Dachshund cross (maybe Rat Terrier?), about 12 pounds, and full of life. He isjust over 2 years old and is in need of someone to hold him on the couch, take him out to run, and sleep beside at night. Has quickly learned to use the doggie door at his foster home, knows his name and comes when called (obviously can’t be a purebred doxie). He was neutered early in his life and recently had his teeth cleaned. He is current on his vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He is very protective of his person, and barks to let one know if there is stranger danger. Gets along fine with other dogs, although is hesitant with bigger dogs. He does like to play and wrestle with his foster house-mates, but would also do fine as an only dog. He came into NMDR as a product of divorce. Andy’s being fostered in southern Colorado and his adoption fee is $200.
