Fosters needed!!

Nov. 05.

PeeWee (aka Petey) ADOPTED!!!

This little guy is PeeWee, but in the NMDR world, he is known as Petey as his foster mom doesn’t think his formal name fits him.  So Petey it is, and he is a little guy who would and could steal your heart away.   This precious doxie is 12 years old supposedly, but don’t let that dismay you – plenty of spunk in him and full of curiosity.  He came to us from the city shelter due to his owner passing away, and family members did not want to take him.   So Petey spent several days penned up at the shelter until the release date was official, and from then on, he has been the most happy and sweetest dog imaginable.   Petey is extremely affectionate, he really is curious about everything in his surroundings, and he is a constant shadow to his foster mom.   And oh yes, he loves to help you cook.   He just recently had extensive dental work done, he has had all his shots, he is heartworm free and microchipped – in other words, ready to find that forever home with YOU.  He currently weighs 14 lbs., is very well housebroken, and loves to cuddle up beside you in a chair, and of course, wants to sleep with his human but will be content to sleep in a doggie bed all night thru also.  He also is very quiet, his foster mom hasn’t heard him bark since he’s been with her.  He is one special dog, likes the other dogs in his foster household, and is what would be known as a typical doxie in character.  You would love him, so inquire about Petey – he is being fostered in Albuquerque and his fee would be $200.

And did you know that November is Adopt an Older Dog month?  And for that older dog, their time with you is so precious just as that time you give to them is equally so.
