Alex is adopted!!!!

Alex is one of the 9 dogs rescued from a puppy mill. She is a 7 year old red dapple smooth dachshund who weighs 10 lbs. Alex is very treat motivated and loves her food which should make her easy to train. She is still very skittish around adults although she seems to like and trust children more easily. Alex knows how to use a dog door to get in and out of the house, but is still learning to take her bathroom business outside. She is also still getting used to a leash. Alex loves other dogs and will play with them. Alex has had several litters in her life but since coming into NMDR she is now spayed, up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative, and has had a dental cleaning. Alex is being fostered in Espanola but transport to the Albuquerque area (or anywhere else in the state) is not an issue. We will get her to wherever her forever family lives. Her adoption fee is $275.
