Hi, I’m Cindy, and I’m the friendliest dog in the history of the world. My foster mom doesn’t know if I’d like cats, because she doesn’t have any. And someone told my foster mom I nipped a kid, but who wouldn’t want to nip a kid who was teasing him or her? I’m a teeny bit pudgy, but I’m attempting to diet. I’m very frisky. My foster mom tells me I can’t hold my licker, but that’s only because I love to give everyone kisses. I turned six years old on June 3, and I’d make anyone a perfect pet. I don’t even bark. Much. I’m a standard red-and-white piebald dachshund, and I weigh a hefty 21.6 pounds, although I’m on a slimming diet. I’m being fostered in Albuquerque and my adoption fee is $275.
Update – Cindy is slimming down, she now weighs around 18 lbs. She is a very loving and sweet little girl. We discovered her knee joint on one if her hind legs was swollen, turned out to be a lump. She is scheduled to have the lump removed in a couple weeks and we will also be having the lump biopsied to ensure she does not have cancer. Please consider making a donation to help fund Cindy’s surgery and keep her in your prayers.
