Sissy has been in the rescue for over a year now. She is getting along great with all the dogs in her foster home and is waiting so patiently for a family to call her own. Please consider giving Sissy the happy forever home she deserves.
BooWho, now known as Sissy, is one of the 9 dogs rescued from the puppy mill. Sissy is a 5 year old light black and tan dapple smooth coated dachshund. She has had several litters in her life. Since coming into NMDR, Sissy is now spayed, up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative, and had a dental cleaning. She is a sweet, shy little girl who is very skittish around humans. She will need lots of patient love and attention to overcome her fear of people. She is very good with other dogs and seems to take great comfort in their company. Sissy is still working on her house training and getting used to a leash. She is being fostered in Albuquerque and her adoption fee is $275.
