Aug. 22.
Penn is an 8-year-old neu

tered male red smooth mini dachshund. He is up-to-date on vaccinations.
He’s an affectionate little guy, but needs time to warm up to strangers, especially men, as he tries to nip ankles on first encounter. When he’s sleeping/resting the tip of his tongue sticks out (very cute, I think.)
He had been surrendered to NMDR in 2009 by a divorcing couple, and was then adopted as a companion for another male mini dachshund. The woman recently died unexpectedly, and Penn came back to NMDR. He is being fostered in Albuquerque and his adoption fee is $200.
