My name is Warren and I ran away from my abusive home, was found by a wonderful lady who took me to the vet where they called New Mexico Dachshund Rescue to come and get me. Later I got shots and an awful procedure that left me without part of my anatomy.  My foster-mom calls me Monkey-boy, since I am an expert climber — she says my forever home has to have a really good fence to keep me in, even though I weigh only about 15 pounds, I can climb!   I’m about a year old, calm, quiet, playful, gentle — with a long, soft coat from my long-haired dachsie momma, and Spaniel (I think) father.   I always go outside through the doggie-door when I need to.  This foster home is great, and I get along with all the other dogs here, but I would really like to have my own home with someone who will appreciate my charismatic personality and love me all the time.  Please call Sandy at 505-455-3079, or losttrailstation@gmail.com.
