I cannot believe this dog is really 10 years old ( shelter estimate of course- she was a stray), she has the grey face and she shuffles along slowly (my husband calls her ‘hobble’) but her personality is so quirky and young and she is surprisingly spry and active!!

After the first day or two- Fiona really started to come out of her shell and I swear we learn something new about her daily. She runs to the door to greet us, she licks your legs, she snuggles with our dogs and cats and even likes our bunnies, I was sure she wouldn’t like kids due to her advanced age and perhaps impaired vision but we met some young children at PetSmart this weekend who belong to a co-worker of mine and she licked their knees and enjoyed their pets, she walks nice on leash, she is potty trained, she loves the car, she eats well and LOVES snacks and peanut butter kongs, she is curious and fun and just great! The best thing is that she PLAYS with our 1.5 year old hyperactive pitbull. At first I thought he was annoying her then I started to see HER initiate the games- she runs and hops and play bites at him for over an hour sometimes! Ive actually seen him have to take a break before her.
