Fosters needed!!

Adopted

May. 28.

Bertie -ADOPTED!!

Absolutely darling chiweenie. Young spayed female, one-two years, all vaccinations UTD, chipped. No real history on her, but she shows no signs of abuse. She came to her current foster home as a result of reported behavior issues. Those have all been eliminated through the application of healthy amounts of activity. She is high energy, needs LOTS of exercise, as in miles of running.

This is not an apartment dog, despite her diminutive size of ten pounds.

Loves to play, chase and wrestle with another dog her same energy level. After a day of running and playing, she loves to cuddle on the couch, watch TV, and help you eat your supper.  Eats free choice dry dog food, which has alleviated her food aggression, although she may try to protect her toys and bones.

Sleeps quietly all night in bed (under the covers) with her person.  Dog-door use is a work in progress, so she still needs to be watched to go outside. No health problems, happy and always ready for adventure, loves to ride on (or chase) the ATV and go in the car. Seems to know her name and comes when called, well, considering she is part dachsie. Kids and cats, don’t know.

If you are ready for a wonderful bundle of energy and love, please complete an application with NMDR. Bertie is being fostered in southern Colorado and her adoption fee is $575.
