• Black and tan doxie mix female, ~12 weeks old February 3, 2023. Found near Los Lunas in a box along with her four siblings, she is a hell-bent for leather female, about 7 pounds. Classic black and tan markings with the tiniest spot of white on her chest and a very short tail she was born with. Long ears and well-balanced body, sturdy legs and feet.

   

  By far the smartest pup,learned the dog stairs to the couch all by herself, the dog door (out and in), and somehow gettingon the kitchen table. Although a bit smaller than the boys, she never seems to tire of rough-housing with the boys, but will sometimes ask to be held and snuggle to watch TV by the fire. No sign of abuse, is totally trusting and lovable.

   

  Has all her vaccinations and is chipped andspayed. Still eating puppy chow with milk replacer, which should be continued for several moreweeks. Will sleep for several hours at night in the puppy pen, and then has the run of the housethe rest of the day, with frequent outside visits. Goes outside with the pack to do her yard work. Cannot be considered house-trained yet, but has a good start. If you are ready for a very smart,feisty pup, this little girl is the best. However, do stock up on puppy toys.
