Ellie is a DARLING approx. one year old shaded cream female doxie. She’s just full of puppy joy and energy. Her hair is soft and silky and she’s absolutely a cuddle bug. Ellie is very smart and anxious to please. She is spayed and has had her shots. Her teeth are white and perfect. She came into my home where I have 2 older boy doxies and she took to them instantly. She learns commands quickly. She plays fetch and actually brings the toy back for more. She plays tug-a-toy with my dogs. Ellie does need more training though; while she quickly learned to use the doggie door, she was not potty trained when she came to me. But Ellie got the idea of doing her business outside within 24 hours! although we’ve had an occasional mistake happen. She’s very polite at meal times and does not try to see what’s happening in the other bowls. Her major training need is that she playfully nips when she gets excited, she seems to think it’s part of playing. She has been with me for a week and she is doing much less nipping – as my dogs and I redirect her. Ellie will make some happy household a wonderful friend. She’s being fostered in Albuquerque and her adoption fee is $300.
