Hi, I’m Shadow.  You may think I got my name because I’m dark, but really it’s because I will follow you everywhere, just like your shadow.  With me around, you’ll never be alone. I’m 4 and ½ years old, and my human mom got sick and had to give me up, so now I’m looking for another person to love. 

My canine mom was a long-haired dachshund, and dad was a chihuahua.  Me?  I’m an original and, I’ve been told, very cute for being a boy!!!  I’m neutered, current on all vaccinations, negative for heart worm and generally healthy. I may bark when I first meet you, but I’m really just a big softie.  I get along well with everyone, including my foster mom’s 3 dogs.  My foster mom thinks I need to lose weight, so she’s measuring out my meals.  I guess I’ll need to have my diet continued, and I also need regular brushing to keep my soft, long fur from getting matted.
