Neo – ADOPTED!!!!

Neo is a 12-year-old red male dachshund.  He will turn 13 in April.  He came to NMDR as a surrender by his family due to personal reasons.

He weighs 17 pounds and is a real lover.  Neo gets along with other dogs (in his previous home and in his foster home).  We do not know how he is with cats.  He is housebroken, very laid back and is not a barker.  He loves to curl up next to you on the couch or in bed.  Neo has been getting petite carrots as treats so as to help him lose a little weight.  He rides well in a car.  He is up to date on his shots, heartworm-negative and micro-chipped.  Neo was not neutered when he came to us, and because of his age and a heart murmur, the vet recommended against neutering him at this point in his life.

If you are looking for a sweet, quiet companion that will be your shadow, Neo is your guy. He is being fostered in Santa Fe and his adoption fee is $200.
