My name is Cookie, and I’m almost all dachshund. Well, except maybe for my ears. I’m a tiny little thing, weighing in at 9.8 pounds. I’m black and tan and five months old. By the time I’m adopted, I will have had all my shots and will have been spayed. I’m a very happy girl and love to play with my foster sister, who’s exactly my age. My foster mom tells me I’m sweet as sugar, and I love people and other dogs. I chase cats, but dachshunds are mighty hunters, so what else would you expect? I’m friendly and outgoing and would make anyone a great pet. Nobody yet knows how I get along with kids, but I’d probably do best with older children, just because they aren’t as apt to roughhouse a tiny dog like me by accident. I’m even almost housebroken! My foster mom says I’m brighter than her other wiener dogs, but she doesn’t want me to let them know that. I’m being fostered in Roswell and my adoption fee is $200.
