Ghost – Adopted!!!

ghost1 ghost2 ghost3 ghost4Ghost is an 8 year old neutered male who was surrendered to a shelter by his previous owner with no explanation.  He is a tiny boy—weighing in at about 9 pounds.  He has a sweet, affectionate disposition; is housebroken; knows how to use a doggie door; and did I say he’s a sweetie in every way possible?  Gets along great with other dogs.  Does not seem to care about playing with toys but is active and likes to run and explore outside.  He loves sleeping with his human and loves to snuggle against your chest.  He also loves belly rubs and will sometimes just fall to the floor and roll over with the invitation to get one.  He doesn’t seem to have separation anxiety and has behaved well when left alone for short periods of time.  Ghost is up to date on all his shots and is heart worm negative. His foster mom has grandchildren living on the property who are 9 & 12 years old and he has been fine with them . . .  no signs of aggression.  Ghost would be an exceptional addition to any family who treats him with love and gentleness and he will return it back to you threefold. Ghost is being fostered in Albuquerque and his adoption fee is $200.

Senior Special Extended! – all dachshunds 8 years old and older will have reduced adoption fees of $150 until the end of June! Consider giving one of these sweet, calm dogs a loving forever home. They have plenty of years of love to give!
