Hi, I’m MAX! I’m 5 1/2 yr. old red smooth hair tweenie.    I am very personable and know how to mind–except when it comes to my foster mom’s kitty, so all my good manners go out the window.  She says I “go bananas” when I see her or even smell her, but hey, I’m just doing my canine civic duty.   I am up to date on my shots, fixed and heart worm negative.  I love it when there are other doggies around; there’s not a mean bone in my body and I love to play! I eat out of my own dish and don’t hone in on others.  My foster mom calls me a sweetie frequently. Due to a disc injury in August, I can’t do stairs on my own. and have been trying my darnest to get back on my feet AND have done very well (except for my right back foot drags a bit). I know I need some special considerations for my potential parents.  If you have a doggie door and a level exit, I know I would not have accidents in the house. I know the bathroom is outside, but because of my back, darn if I don’t get much warning sometimes.    When I go for walks (which I LOVE!), mom puts on little booties on my back feet to protect my toes.  I try very hard at every thing and hope to find forever folks to go along with me on my journey. I’m being fostered in Albuquerque and my adoption fee in $275.
