Hi, my name is Fonzarelli! I was picked up by Animal Control and wound up in the clink. It is actually a good thing though. I escaped a backyard nightmare where no one cared about me. I was soo infested with fleas that I was anemic. My skin and eyes were infected and I wasn’t neutered. How did they not see I was suffering? No one even came looking for me! My foster mum saw me on the AC website and came to visit me. She could see I had been neglected but still was good natured and very loving. She tells me every day what a good boy I am. I get along great with the other 3 dogs in my foster home, but I don’t like cats!. I just love being part of the pack! I do get a little excited when it’s dinner time and have to be reminded to keep my beezer out of the other dog’s bowls. I’m just worried I won’t get to eat again! I am a very cool dog and just want to be where ever my people are. I sleep all night in my own bed by my foster mum’s bed. My skin and eyes are doing soo much better now. I am working on my leash training and am ready to find my own people and doggie friends. If you are looking for a 23lb standard Dachshund who is a sweet and loving gentleman (5-7 years old) then maybe we should meet! Please fill out an application and get the ball rolling. I just know there is someone out there that will love me to the moon and back, like my foster mum says, and won’t just put me in the yard to waste away. Is it you??
