What a classic!  And, I am gorgeous (for a boy).  Elongated head and narrow muzzle, long, muscular body and deep chest. My smooth red coat is velvety soft, and my ears, those wonderful ears everyone can hear rattle in the morning.   I would like to spend all day outside hunting and come in at night and sleep quietly in my doggie bed.  I am 9 years young, well-housebroken, understand doggie doors and people food.  I get along fine with other dogs.  I went to the vet this week to have all my shots, they found a microchip, and I don’t have heart-worms, but all of my rotten teeth had to be pulled.  I weigh 23 pounds and am in perfect health (now that those teeth are gone). My previous owner had to surrender me to NMDR, because she was not able to care for me.  She was kind and took me in when a neighbor man had to find me another place to live.   But, I am ready for a forever home with a person that will love and care for me, and take me on long walks. Women are OK, but I really like male humans better.  I am being fostered in Southern Colorado. Adoption fee for me is $300 – you won’t regret it!
