Hi!! My name is Rufus and I am a sweet and super cute 2 year old, red short hair, male Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. I have a great personality and I get along well with people, other dogs and cats. My Foster mom doesn’t have any kids, however whenever children come to our house to visit, the kids and I  always like to play and have a great time rolling and romping inside the house and out in my backyard. I am lovable and playful and can’t wait to have a few kids or an adult to play with! I’m working on my house training so you can consider me a work in progress as I get better each and every day.  My current home does not have a doggie door for me to use, but if your home has one, I’m willing to learn to use it.  I like following my foster brother and sister dogs outside to use the potty when they go, after we get done with our business, it gives us some time to play and chase each other around the yard.  I’m up to date on my shots, neutered and micro chipped. The doctor says I am in great health and weigh 8.6 pounds, just perfect for your lap.  What more could you ask for from a great little dog? Could you please consider adding me to your family?
