Nugget is a 12 year old min red male dachshund.  He weighs approximately 13  pounds and is neutered, up to date on his shots, HW Negative and has received a dental. He is housebroken, low key, not a barker and loves to snuggle.  Nugget sleeps in his foster mom’s bed cuddled next to Alex.  He is a couch potato. He gets along with other dogs but do not know about cats. He is currently eating Natural Balance Chicken and Sweet Potato and eats 1/4 cup twice a day. Nugget currently uses a doggie door to go outside. He prefers to be on the couch…preferably on a lap.

Alex is bonded with his best friend, Nugget and Nugget with Alex. We prefer that they be adopted together since they have been together for so long. They were surrendered from their only home due to the owner’s health issues and is no longer able to care for them. Alex and Nugget are being fostered in Santa Fe and their fee is $275.
