Suzie – ADOPTED!!!!

Hello, out there in Doxieland!! My name is Suzie. I, along with my 2 brothers and 3 sisters were found along the river in a box and taken to the Valencia County Animal Shelter. Lucky for us, New Mexico Dachshund Rescue was contacted and bailed us out! Me and 2 of my sisters and one of my brothers are now with our foster parents in Farmington. I’m a fawn smooth haired Doxie mix. I have learned to use the doggie door and potty training is on going. My foster dad says he is going to train me to walk on a leash when I get a little older. I have had my first puppy shots and have two more rounds of shots to go. Around the middle of Nov. I will see the vet to be spayed. I’m not looking forward to that but everyone says it must be done before I can find a loving family of my own. I will be ready for adoption around the first of Dec. just in time for Christmas. I’m being foster in Farmington and my adoption fee is $250.

UPDATE- I’m the couch potato of the group of puppies. Don’t get me wrong I also like to rough house and play chase. I’m probably the fastest of the group. They have a hard time catching me. My down time, I like laying on my foster mom’s lap and just let time pass away. I’ve learned the doggie door and am learning to walk on a leash.  Suzie
