Malcolm – ADOPTED!!!

Malcolm is an 8-year-old “dashalier” – a dachshund-Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix. He has more of a dachshund body with a mostly spaniel face, including big round eyes that will melt you. The family that had Malcolm since he was a 6-week-old puppy surrendered him when they were moving. Despite having his world turned upside down, Malcolm is the happiest, sweetest dog you could ever hope to meet. He wags his tail almost constantly. He loves to cuddle and to be near you all the time – he’s truly the perfect companion.

Malcolm is housebroken and hasn’t had a single accident at his foster home. He gets along great with his foster brother and sisters, despite having been an only dog before. The family that surrendered him had children and said he did well with them.

Currently weighing in at about 19.6 pounds, Malcolm needs to lose several pounds to be at his healthiest weight. However, the vet thinks Malcolm was even more overweight and has lost a few pounds already, because he has a little saggy skin on his chest and belly. He is healthy, though, and is neutered, current on all vaccinations, and negative for heart worm. His greatest – maybe only – fault is that he often snores when he sleeps!

Malcolm is being fostered in Albuquerque, and his adoption fee is $250. Who is ready to give this love bug the wonderful home he deserves?
