Fosters needed!!

Jackie – ADOPTED!!

I am a doxie mix, so they say, but I think I am a Dachshund.  I love to snuggle under the covers at night, sleep on your lap during the day, chase critters outside, play with my toys inside, love to go for walks, and cannot wait to go somewhere in the car, or even the ATV.  My foster-Dad tells me to sit before I get a treat.  When he whistles, I come running.  When other dogs come over to visit, we run and play, unless that dog is growly.

I used to live in Los Lunas, and it was not very good, no one took care of me, and I ended up in the dog-pound, still a puppy.  Fortunately, the good shelter people called New Mexico Dachshund Rescue, and they came and took me in.  Since then, life has been wonderful.  I went to the Vet, where they told me I got spayed, vaccinated and chipped, not sure what all that means, but I feel great. The house I live in has a little door just for me, and I can go outside whenever I need to go potty or bark at things.

You can see from my pictures that I am the most beautiful fawn color, with a bit of white on my chest and two toes on each foot are white, how special. I weighed this morning and am fifteen pounds. My foster-Mom tells me that I will soon be moving to a loving forever home where I can be part of a new family and guard them against all strangers. My birthday is coming up in July–I wonder where I will be then?

Jackie is being fostered in southern Colorado and her adoption fee is $400.
